The Class Information Wizard can be used to gain information about windows and
applications.
The Class Information Wizard can be used as a normal wizard as a library database or as a
standalone database application.
To use as a wizard
------------------
You can install the Class Information Wizard in the same way as any Wizard using
Tools/Add-Ins/Add-In Manager, youcan then start it from the Add-ins menu.
To use as a library database
----------------------------
Establish a reference to the Wizard by opening a module and selecting the
Tools/References menu item, choose browse from the dialog box and then browse to and
select the wzGetClass.mda file.
You can then start the Wizard by using the followng call
call wzStart_Inf
Using the Class Information Wizard
----------------------------------
When the Class Information Wizard starts the Access main window will become hidden and
a form will be displayed. As the mouse is moved over the open windows information about
the window class will be displayed in the form.
Copying the information displayed on the form
---------------------------------------------
- Select the information required on the form
- Move the mouse over the window you want information about
- Press Ctrl-C on the keyboard to copy the selected information to the clipboard
- Click the Close button on the form (the form will close and Access will be made visible)
The information copied to the clipboard can then be pasted as required.
