If using Winzip you must extract from the archive before trying to view (as Winzip will open it with the default action of Start a new document based on this template). Drag to the desktop (or extract) and right click and choose Open. Don't double click as this will start a new document based on the template.

These were believed lost until recently. These are custom levels for the game Warcraft 2. I no longer have warcraft and have forgotten how to use them. This file contains 7 very difficult levels.

Unlike Backup in Windows 95 Backup in Windows 98 cannot run without a user clicking a few buttons. This means it cannot be automated. StartBackup is a small program that clicks the buttons so Backup will run without user intervention

Contains a program to remove browser customisation (branding) that organisation such as ZDNet use and to set the browser titlebar. Also contains sample bitmaps, a copy of the article on the IE5 Tips page, and a reg file explaining how to brand IE your own way.
This program scans Word 6 & 7 (95) templates and lists the macros in the file, including encrypted macros. It does not read password protected files (unless you know the password.

This converts values to percentages without dividing by 100. It works on selected cells and ignores cells that don't contain numbers.
Copy the text in the link to a new module in excel. See help on how to create a macro as it varies greatly between 95 and 97. Tested in Excel 95, 97, and 2000.
If you need this macro consider using Access instead of Excel. This will likely be the only Excel macro ever on this site.

Spelling Helper is two programs to assist with spelling words. Spelling Helper itself allows searching of Word's dictionary while Expand searches the current document to finish the word or phrase that is being typed. Supplied with online context sensitive help. Format.dot is an addin template adding extra commands to Word. Adds 10 macros to indent and unindent both margins, and increase or decrease space before or after a paragraph by 1/4 or 3 points. Also adds these and 6 inbuilt Word commands to a menu and toolbar called Quick Format.
Space before and after a paragraph is useful for laying out newsletters where the text must fill exactly a given space. Indenting both margins is required when quoted text exceeds about 100 words. For Word 97.

Tweak Start Menu (TweakSM.doc) is a VBA program that adds and removes items from Windows 95 Start Menu. Requires IE4 with shell integration for full functionally. This program requires Microsoft Word 97 to run. Will eventually be released as a stand alone program.
