Quick Ways Of Selecting In Word

There are loads of stuff in Word that you would discover by quite accident. A few years back while I was working on the documentation of a project report, I discovered a very easy way to select a sentence-- simply hold down the Ctrl key and click once in the sentence.  On an other occasion I learnt that you can hold down the Shift key and click to select a contiguous word. As an example, suppose you double-click the word  "Coffee" in the phrase "Coffer peps me ". Then you decide you need to copy the entire phrase. All you have to do is press Shift and click peps and me.
In an earlier tip I had also discussed that another way to select words or a phrase quickly is to click at the beginning of the first word you wish to highlight, then hold down the Shift key, move the mouse to the end of the phrase, and click again.
