Who Am I?

My name is L.J. Johnson, and I have been working with VB intensely since VB 1.0.  I am a semi-regular columnist for VBPJ (Visual Basic Programmers Journal), a section leader on the VBPJ web forums (news.devx.com), and recently started as the new Ask the NT Pro on their new web site.  I have been a Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional) in Visual Basic for 4 years.

You can look at my resume here.

I have a wife (Mary), two children (Amanda and Craig), 2 dogs and 3 cats.  I live in Garland, Texas (suburb of Dallas).  I have been in the computer industry professionally for almost 11 years -- before that, I had another life in the oil fields, where I worked as a roustabout, night platform operator offshore, roughneck, and a drilling foreman for the last 10 years of that career.
